Our Vision

A helping hand for hands that heal, Nurses4Ontario aims to provide career guidance and support to student nurses and Registered Nurses in Ontario, through custom designed recruitment initiatives that address their career needs, concerns and aspirations.

Our Mission

Be it career guidance, workplace support or life management, Nurses4Ontario is a comprehensive resource of initiatives and information for student nurses and Registered Nurses alike. Founded in 2003 by Elaine Burr RN of St Michael's Hospital, Nurses4Ontario was created specially to showcase the nursing opportunities present in the province and retain the highly skilled local talent in Ontario.

The objectives of Nurses4Ontario are inspired by the maxim, " there is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow". A not-for-profit organization, Nurses4Ontario consists of health care recruiters and local business partners, all of whom are united by their purpose, that of assisting student nurses and RNs by providing information and organizing events that highlight the various nursing career opportunities available in the province.

Dedicated to the amazing work nurses do day in and day out in medical facilities all across the province, Nurses4Ontario is a token of appreciation and a vehicle of support. It is also a vote of confidence, one that will help the nurses of Ontario fulfill their aspirations and realize their full potential.
